You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement.

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your email and devices, and activity performed through your account. One person or authorised business representative must control each account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

A social marketplace and negotiation tool—not the owner of listed goods.

The Trading Block helps people and businesses publish listings, express wants, discover collectors, message, make structured offers and record agreed deal state. Unless a screen expressly names an active third-party provider, we do not independently authenticate goods, appraise value, hold funds in escrow, guarantee payment, provide insurance, arrange shipping or take possession of items.

Any seller ask, declared value, market context or match explanation is information for the conversation, not a valuation, warranty or promise of resale value.

Describe the real item honestly.

• You must own the item or be authorised to offer it.
• Titles, variants, condition, defects, provenance and availability must be accurate and kept current.
• Seller-supplied photos must show the offered item and must not infringe another person’s rights.
• Catalogue or synthetic imagery may decorate product identity, but it is not evidence of the physical item. Seller photos take priority where available.
• You must not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, unsafe, recalled or otherwise prohibited goods.

We may remove, limit or request evidence for content or listings that create legal, safety, fraud or platform-integrity risk.

Review the exact version before you accept.

Messages are direct communications between users. Each structured offer or counter can contain items and an optional cash component. A counter creates a new version; acceptance applies only to the exact version shown. Availability can change, and an item already committed to another protected deal may make an offer impossible to fulfil.

You and the other user are responsible for inspecting items, confirming identity where appropriate, agreeing payment and fulfilment, and complying with tax and legal obligations. Do not send payment or surrender an item because of pressure, an off-platform screenshot or a promise that is not reflected in the current deal state.

No trade is worth ignoring a warning sign.

For local exchanges, use a populated or staffed place, tell someone where you are going, inspect before confirming and leave if anything feels unsafe. Do not share exact home addresses publicly. For shipped exchanges, use tracked methods and any named protection provider shown in the deal. Product safety guidance does not replace your own judgment or emergency services.

Use the network to trade—not to exploit people.

You must not harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, scrape, spam, manipulate reputation, evade enforcement, probe private data, interfere with the service, distribute malware, automate unauthorised access or use another person’s content without permission. Reports must be made in good faith.

We may investigate, restrict, suspend or close accounts and preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, respond to legal obligations or maintain service integrity. Where supported, moderation decisions can be reviewed through the appeal flow.

You keep ownership of your content and grant the service what it needs to display it.

You grant The Trading Block a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, resize and display content you submit for operating, securing and promoting your listing or public profile within the service. You can end this licence for future use by removing content, subject to technical backups and records that must be retained for deals, disputes, safety or law.

The Trading Block name, interface, original copy, code and brand assets remain protected. Third-party brand and product names identify factual product identity and do not imply endorsement.

The service is provided with reasonable care, but marketplaces carry real-world risk.

Features may change, pause or fail. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every user, listing, image, value, message or outcome is accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you remain responsible for your interactions and trades.

Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian Consumer Law. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Material changes stay dated and visible.

We may update these terms as the service and applicable law evolve. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms; where required, we will provide additional notice.
